Didit can't access your account, money, or verification

Verification codes, withdrawals, wrong personal data, account changes and deletion requests all belong to the business you were verifying for - here's why, and how to reach the right people.

Short answer

Didit is the verification technology a business used to check your identity - it does not hold your account, your money, or the power to change your result. For codes, withdrawals, refunds, data corrections, or account changes, contact the support team of the website or app you were verifying for. They can act; Didit's support cannot.

If you verified your identity for a website or app and now need help with that account, this page tells you who can actually help. The short version: almost never Didit.

#Why Didit support can't act on your case

Didit provides identity verification technology to businesses. The business that asked you to verify runs your account, holds any money involved, receives your verification result, and decides what happens next. For security and privacy reasons, Didit does not have access to your account on their platform and does not have the authority to approve, modify, or intervene in a verification.

That's not a support agent declining to help - it's how the system is built. The business is the only party that can act.

#Money: deposits, withdrawals, refunds

If you deposited money on a site that uses Didit for verification and want to withdraw it, or you're waiting for a refund, that money is with the business, not with Didit. Didit never holds end-user funds. Contact the business's support through their app or website.

#A verification code that never arrives

SMS or email codes are sent as part of the business's sign-up or verification flow. If a code doesn't arrive, the fastest fixes are on your side and theirs, not Didit's:

  • Check spam and blocked senders for email codes.
  • Make sure the phone number or address you entered is exactly right.
  • Ask the business's support to re-send it or offer another channel.

#Wrong personal data on your verification

If your verification shows wrong information about you - a misread name, an incorrect date, or an alarming mistake like being matched to the wrong record - the business that receives your result is the one that can review it and let you verify again. Tell their support what's wrong and ask them to re-check or send a fresh verification link.

#Changing your name or details

Didit can't edit the personal details on a verification, and can't change the name or profile on your account with the business. Ask the business to update your account and, if needed, to send a new verification link so your documents are re-read.

#Deleting your data or your account

Your account belongs to the business, so account deletion goes through them. For the data collected during a verification, the business controls how long it's kept and can delete it - ask them. What Didit does with your data, and your rights over it, are explained in what happens to my data.

#If you can't reach the business

Use a channel you already trust - their app, their website's help section, or a phone number you looked up yourself. If the business has genuinely disappeared on you, that's a consumer-protection matter for your local authorities; Didit still can't open or act on their accounts.

#What Didit's support can do for you

Didit's team can explain how a verification works, help if the verification page itself won't load or capture, and point you to the right place - which is what this page just did. See I was asked to verify my identity with Didit for how the process works, and my verification failed - what now for fixable capture problems.
